·  Blood drinking: In Europe there was a tale about Vlad soaking his bread in the blood of his impaled victims, it has been proved as a fact that this actually happened.

·   The cup of gold: The tale says Vlad had a cup of gold in the middle of the public plaza in Transylvania and made everybody drink from it. The cup was never stolen due to the fear that Dracula created by threading to impale the entire population if someone robed it.

·  The Merchant’s money: A merchant went to Rumania under the Dragon´s kingdom and left one hundred and sixty coins in a public plaza inside a cart while he went to sleep. When he woke up the money was gone, desperate he informed Dracula about his loss. Dracula then ordered his guards to find the thief or else he would destroy his whole kingdom and impale everyone who lived in it. The thief was found and the coins returned, but Vlad secretly sent an extra coin. The Merchant told Vlad about the new coin, Dracula thanked him about his honesty and told him if he would have taken the coin he would´ve been impaled.

·  Vlad’s Mistress: Dracula had a mistress he adored. One day, she saw him kind of sad and tried to cheer him up by lying about being pregnant. Vlad had her examined by several doctors, finding out she had lied. Angrily he made a gigantic cut from her breasts to her abdomen and left her to rot in the middle of the town to prove he had no mercy to lying, no matter who it was.

·  The rotting Army: In one of Vlad’s greatest revenge he had 15000 soldiers impaled, in the purpose of making a forest out of impaled people so he could properly eat.

In history there have been no killers like Prince Vlad the Impaler, also known as Dracula. No wonder why Bram Stoker took inspiration on him to write one of the most terrifying and legendary story that remains till today as several movies and, of course the original novel. We can say that Dracula is a classic, which will remain as it until the end of times.
