Abstract

Dracula, a terror story that has been renown 

throughout history as a bloody tale full of torture and 

sadism, was actually based on facts. Even if Bram Stoker´s story sounds fantastic, there was a man with tales of his own that did similar things as the vampire that appears in Dracula. A person that caused suffering to an entire country and marks now a days the historical background of Rumania.
